Lego Club, Friday, August 8, 12:00-1:00 pm. Kids of all ages, come build Lego challenges, have snacks, and get creative with other enthusiasts.

Coyote & Crow Game Night, Tuesday, August 12, 5:00-7:00 pm. RPG gamers, come to our first tabletop game night and learn to play Coyote and Crow. (See below for more details.)

Salish Sea Suncatcher Workshop, Thursday, August 21, 11:00 am-12:00 pm. Kids, ages 5-12, come learn about the Salish Sea and make a cool suncatcher to hang in your window!

Teen Tabletop Gaming Club, Friday, August 22, 3:00-4:00 pm. Come play fun board games the 4th Friday of the month. Drop-ins welcome!

Magic Show, Thursday, August 28, 1:00-2:00 pm. Kids of all ages, come see award winning magician and mentalist Brian Ledbetter perform amazing magic tricks.

Tech Help, Mondays, 3:00-5:00 pm. Schedule your one-on-one 30-minute slot for help with technical issues. (Next tech Monday will be August 18.)

Storytime, Fridays, 11:00-11:30 am. Bring your little ones to the library for stories and crafts. All ages welcome.

Summer Reading Participants!

Have you been keeping up with your reading this summer? Don’t forget to bring your reading log to the library to claim your free book as a reward for all your hard work! But that’s not all….

We’re also holding a special Lego set giveaway! We have three awesome Lego sets waiting behind the counter, and you could win one!

To enter the drawing, simply turn in your completed reading log before Labor Day. Winners will be chosen in three separate age groups, so everyone has a fair chance to win. Stop by the library soon to claim your prize and enter the drawing.

Pegasus Puppet Theatre Presents Stellaluna, Wednesday, August 6, 10:30-11:30 am. Come see Pegasus Puppet Theatre’s production of children’s favorite, Stellaluna.

Rock Painting, Wednesday, August 20, 12:00-1:00 pm. Kids of all ages, come make beautiful art using rocks as your canvas. Supplies provided.

Coyote and Crow Game Night

Come one, come all to Coyote and Crow, a tabletop role-playing game set in the futuristic land of Makasing. The land was influenced by a strange purple strain 700 hundred years ago that came into contact with plants and animals. It eventually was processed through scientific methods and placed on the brain stems of humans, giving them powers beyond comprehension. Known as the Adanadi or simply the Gift, this power greatly affected people’s intellect, perception, and wisdom.

Come find out what your power is and how you can help humanity survive the conflict that plagues it. There are many scenarios, but if you can tell a story then you can play the game of Coyote and Crow. Our next session will commence promptly at 5 pm on Tuesday, August 12th. So please join us, have some fun, meet some new friends, and learn the ways of Coyote and Crow.

Bring your kids to the library every Friday at 11 am. We’ll dive into a variety of exciting stories, followed by activities and creative crafts that bring the tales to life.
